Dr Warby is board certified in foot and ankle surgery, and specializes in simple and complex procedures in the lower extremity. He trained with prestigious surgeons in Southern California, specializing in modern techniques in trauma surgery and reconstructions. He is one of few surgeons who went on to complete a one year post-residency fellowship in Orthopedic Sports Medicine. He has been in private practice in Utah since 2005. Before moving back to Utah, he worked in private practice for a few years in Southern California. He is commonly found in his office, the hospital, or the ER, where he takes emergency call during evenings or weekends.
He has treated Olympic athletes, including gold medalists, professional football players, professional baseball players, professional dancers, skiers, snowboarders, cheerleaders and many weekend warriors. He commonly sees high school and club team athletes in football, basketball, soccer, baseball, cheerleading, track, cross country and many other sports. He treats many long distance runners, marathon, ultra-marathon, trail runners, as well as those who like to run shorter 5Ks and 10Ks. He is a former marathon runner and placed at the St George Marathon. He is also a consultant for running shoe companies. He continually updates his training with the latest advances in conservative and surgical treatments found across the world. He also speaks fluent German and attends many international conferences as well, some in English and some in German.
Dr Warby is originally from Utah. He is married and has 4 kids. He enjoys biking, golf, soccer, football, skiing, basketball, hiking, and spending time with his family.
